Sometimes you have not directly appointed the project team, but you are a stakeholder or eventual building owner or occupier and you need to be in touch with what’s going on, you need someone with the knowledge and experience to look after your interests.

Our clients often ask us to undertake this role on projects where they do not have direct control of the development project team or contractor.

We will agree with you our level of involvement, such as:
  • Due diligence & initial appraisal
  • Assembly, co-ordination & management of the monitoring team
  • Liaison with construction, legal & specialist consultants
  • Agreement of key documentation
  • Construction phase monitoring
  • Approval of financial drawdowns
  • Ensuring design & quality standards are met
  • Inspection & sign off at Practical Completion & at the end of the Defects Period
